The tour starts from the Amphiteatrum Flavium, better known as the Colosseum: symbol of Rome and her immortality. Next to the Colosseum is the most famous arches of Rome: The Arch of Constatine. Passing through via dei Fori Imperiali we arrive to the Roman Forum : It was for centuries the center of Roman public life,site of triumphal processions and elections; the venue for public speeches, criminal trials and the nucleus of commercial affairs. The Imperial forums are located relatively close: Julius Caesar was the first to build in this section of Rome with Caesar's Forum, which was a kind of prototype for the following emperors. End of tour is on the Campidoglio Hill: the main of the seven hills of Rome it represented Rome's civil, religious and military sovereignty. More info
